Entry #440: What is the "TLC Timeout" value?

Question
What is the "TLC Timeout" value?
Answer
TLC Timeout is the amount of time that EA/V will wait for the Power Agent to respond to a connection request.

When EA/V connects to the Power Agent, it has to get the symbol table first, and then the continuing stream of data blocks. The timeout is in number of minutes for the symbol table and number of intervals for the data blocks. The default is 10, so you would be waiting 10 minutes for the symbol table and 10 x 30 seconds = 5 minutes for the PA to send a data block.
