Question Is EA/V compatible with Windows 2008 Server? Answer You shouldn't have any problems running EA/V under Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit. You will notice two things: 1. EA/V is a 32-bit program, so it will be installed into the \Program Files (x86)\SightLine directory structure. 2. If you run EA/V as a service, Windows may display messages telling you that there is an application that wants to display/interact with the desktop. This is because EA/V is an interactive application; services, by design, are not interactive. You can either respond to these messages or ignore them, but they will not have any effect on EA/V's continuing operation. If you are not running EA/V as a service, then this will not be an issue.
